Tyler and I met up with mom at Stonebridge Manor where we’re getting married at. We met with the photographer that we chose, Fotos by Flint. I was pleased with Flint and his work he showed us. We basically went through the timeline of what will be happening and when/how we’ll take pictures. After meeting with Flint, we met with the florist from Zuzu’s Petals. I orginially wanted all red calla lilies for the bridesmaids and that didn’t work out since it’s more expensive. I’ll have the white calla lilies for myself and the bridesmaids will have red roses. At least I get calla lilies. ;-)

Tonight we went to Drinx, a bar, to meet up with Jason and other people for drinks before seeing Sex and the City movie. It was so much fun meeting more and actually getting to know more people. It’s a pain living at home all the way up North when everyone’s down in Scottsdale/Tempe/Mesa area. A lot of job opportunities in our field are in Scottsdale/Mesa so I think we’ll be looking for an apartment in the area. Definitely can’t wait to move out already. Haha!

It’s no fun being broke or seeing our money go to a waste. Tyler and I want to learn how to be financially smart. I was inspired by Mrs. January aka Cassie. She saves a lot of money by using coupons and so on. For example – groceries worth $144.74 and she only paid $8.75!! I’m going to start using coupons – looking them up online and printing them before we go shopping. I’m determined to do this! Also to go green by using reusable bags. Tyler and I became members of Costco so we can get gas from there.

I’m waiting for the day to come where I’ll win the lottery ticket…but until then, I’ll be wise and a super-saver!

I like my new design…but I don’t know how long I’m going to last with this one. Haha!

The meeting this morning about Rocky Point went well. It was also nice to meet Jason’s friends who are going on the trip as well too. They’re all nice people and it comes to a shock to me that there’s no such thing as Deaf Standard Time (DST) in Phoenix with these people unlike at R.I.T and in Rochester.

Tyler and I went to Crate and Barrel today to do our wedding registry. It was so much fun but we didn’t know how many of each we needed or what was ideal to ask for. Both our moms said they want to go back with us and help us finish it. Also we’ll go do one at Macy’s since they have dinnerware stuff with polka dots!!! Gotta love Kate Spade!!
