Today I picked up the keys after work! Tyler wanted to see the apartment since he hasn’t and has work tomorrow so we thought we’d pack up as much as we can with my car and mom’s and head over while it’s a bit cooler tonight. It was HELL though and I can’t imagine what it’s going to be like tomorrow……..WORSE. We live RIGHT by the pool so I’m definitely going swimming afterwards. Jason is sweet enough to come and help unpack.

I LOVE the fact that the gym and pool is open 24 hours. #*$(&#%! Mom and I called APS (electricity) last night and the lady tried looking up the previous owner’s bill to see how much it was monthly and it turns out that the apartment has been vacant for 12 months…makes me wonder what’s wrong with the apartment or if someone was bloody murdered. Yes, I know I think too much! Another thing I’m wondering about is that I looked up the apartment on apartmentratings.com and a lot of people complained about the staff being inconsiderate and rude but that was from before April of this year. The staff has been really nice to me but I don’t know if that is just because they want me to move there. The gal who works there and helped me with getting my apartment actually lives there too. I think all the staff does anyways.

Anyways…off to bed for a hellish day tomorrow in the heat. :( Pictures coming soon after we get settled in the apartment (Monday the latest…I HOPE).

Tyler and I are moving out this weekend. We got an apartment in Paradise Valley right next to the mall and in the middle of our jobs so everything is closeby! We move in on Saturday and Tyler has to work so he’s lucky!!! We’re on the 3rd floor (the top) and it’s going to be HELL moving in. Tyler hasn’t even seen the apartment or location, HAHAH! Poor Tyler… the office closes at 6PM and he never gets home in time to drive over to the apartment. We’ve decided that Tyler’s youngest brother, Blake, will be living with us for one year just to help each other by saving money. I love our apartment!! All 3rd floor apartments have vaulted ceilings and we get to choose one color that they will paint on one wall in the living room for us and of course I picked red. We’ll be living by ourselves until mid-August and that’s when Blake moves in.

I know I owe you all pictures…I definitely will upload pictures as soon as I can. As for the wedding dress – I can’t put it up on here because Tyler will see it so page/e-mail me if you want to see it.

My goal is to go to bed before midnight, haha. Signing off now!

Sandy, a family friend, stayed the night here last night so she could go with us today to find my wedding dress. Catie, my big sister from Tri-Sigma, met us there and it was nice to have their opinions as I tried on more dresses. I was indecisive about the dresses I was trying on until I tried on the last one – we all fell in love with it! I tried sitting down while in the dress….and uncomfortable! Will I ever sit down anyways? Probably 10% of the time. We bought it today and we got $200 off! Tyler was fumbling through the magazine trying to find the one I bought and he picked all the wrong dresses….GOOD, I don’t want him knowing which one I bought.

We looked at an apartment today – it is really nice but we also like another apartment that is in a better location and a little bit more money. It’s going to be a hard decision to make especially if we want just one bedroom apartment or two bedroom apartment. We thought about buying/renting a house but we want to save money first. We need to be able to have enough money saved for repairs and maintenance if we own a house. Probably will buy one next year. We’re anxious to move and probably will SOON.
