Now is the time for us to SHINE!

I love getting the Wedding RSVP’s in the mail because it’s fun to see who’s actually coming or not. The most creative one was from Amy, my maid of honor, of course! I’m surprised how many already has  replied when the deadline to reply is October 27th.

Today I met up with Jason & Kim at Delux for lunch. OMG, their burgers are yummy! I’m obsessed with the song on their website and I’ve reloaded the website about 20 times now. I’m weird like that!

Tonight the boys and I went to Costco and it was like Christmas for Blake (my fiancĂ©’s brother) since he has not had money to really buy anything yummy to eat so his eyes went wide on everything he saw and kept piling up the cart. There was a little girl there with her mom and she was in a swimsuit!?

Me: (sarcasm) If we were not together, what would you do?

Ty: I have plenty of girls who are waiting for me.

Me: (laughing) Oh please, who would want to date you!?!

Ty: YOU!!!

(both laughing so hard)

I love my Ty… we’re goofy, silly, and have meaningless conversations all the time. I can never get sick of him. Our fights never last that long and we forget we’re supposed to be mad like with siblings. I can’t wait to marry him, my soulmate!! and I’m looking forward to more silly stupid moments with him.

So let me tell you why Mac is awesome and better than PC. I LOVE the icons I made for my folders – first letter of the folder name.

Tonight we met with the DJ for our wedding at Starbucks. I thought picking out songs was not going to be that exciting since I’m deaf and don’t really know any good slow (G rated) songs except like DROP IT LIKE IT’S HOT!! :P

I think what was fun about it was that our DJ is AWESOME and I’m so glad he’s doing our wedding. I didn’t realize how many specific songs we had to pick… garter toss, taking garter off, etc. The songs we have chose so far are:

First Dance: I do Cherish You by 98 Degrees
Father/Daughter Dance: My Little Girl by Tim Graw
Mother/Son Dance: Somewhere over the Rainbow by Israel Kamakawiwo
Garter Off: Mission Impossible
…and many more. I don’t have the list with me.

While discussing the songs tonight, my mom out of the blues asked the DJ if he was married and he said no he wasn’t. She was trying to hook him up with her best friend!! How embarassing is that!?!! It’s hilarious at the same time because she should probably just go in the matchmaking business since she’s hooked other people up before and one couple is married now because of her.

I gotta face it…I’m never going to bed before midnight no matter how hard I try to. I blame it all on errands, TV, Internet time, & Tyler!

Please suggest any songs that we should play throughout the night on our wedding night. Also go buy a Mac now that I’ve convinced you. ;)

IKEA = Organization

Monday, September 22nd, 2008

Tyler and I went to IKEA again this weekend for the millionth time. I never get tired of that place. We needed chairs for our dining table & some other organization stuff. I’m at that stage where I want everything to be simple and not visible.

Everything’s organized and put away! Can’t go wrong with black.

I also love ULTA. I got some new make up today. I ran out of conditioner and noticed my hair is actually better without conditioner so I won’t be using it anymore. Farewell, conditioner!

Last night we bought Swiffer Wetjet and OMG, that stuff works!!! I love it! Our floors are clean now. The apartment better stay clean for the rest of the week, seriously or I’m gonna go bananas!

I’m ready for bed but I can’t….I have to watch Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill, AND Heroes!
