I Love My Orange Post-Its!

Wednesday, October 29th, 2008

Today we found some Halloween decorations at work. KK, DW & I decorated our cubies. I had orange post-its and wrote down some Halloween sayings:

- Blood donors needed. See the count.

- Things that go BUMP in the night!!!

- Boom Parking – 5 cents

- Forget the ghosts, beware of me!

- Time for a coffin break

and posted them on KK’s board. I also sneaked in a “BOO!” post-it to DW. It was a nice way to end our day. We have a Halloween party at work on Friday…it’ll be interesting as it’ll be my first “work party”.

My eye started itching and now it’s poofy which is making me sleepy/tired so I’m definitely turning in early tonight.

What are you all going to be for Halloween?

I VOTED!

Wednesday, October 29th, 2008

I voted today! Did you?

Ty wanted to know who I voted for, but honestly right now I won’t tell him or anyone who I voted for. It was a hard decision though.

I feel so much better getting all the bills & mail sorted out and organized in my new organization bin! Sometime this week Ty and I need to go through the kitchen and rearrange everything as we are receiving wedding gifts.

Bed time. I can never stay up past 1AM anymore (except on the weekends!)

Sensitive Neighbors

What is the first thing you do when you wake up?

I check my pager to double-check the time and read messages. That’s what I did this morning…Ty paged me saying we got reported on from the apartment and that definitely ruined my morning. I read the letter and it said we were reported for “loud activity throughout the day and past 10PM”.

Are they for real!? We’re at work during the day and don’t get home until dinner time and the boys are playing video games which does not require any physical movement and I’m not partying by myself. What disappointed me was that the letter also said if the problem continues then we could be evicted. Again…seriously!!?

I e-mailed all the ladies I know that work at the office in “my work mode” way. The assistant manager who lives two floors below me e-mailed me back and explained that it was just a letter that everyone receives when something like this happens and not to worry about it. If they don’t want us to worry about it then the “eviction” part is really unnecessary.

TWENTY SEVEN days left! I am so nervous because I’m not READY! (Yes, of course, I’m ready to marry Tyler)
