Boys, When Do They Become Men?

Thursday, October 23rd, 2008

Yesterday KK and I had a long lunch break outside of our office. We shared stories with each other about her husband and Tyler. We were laughing so hard because we discovered we’re not alone and we both can relate! Boys will always be boys but we love them.

KK: I can only imagine what they say about us!

KK: “How weird she bakes when she is mad…but who cares!?!?! I get cookies when she is angry!”

Me: then the other says, “We’re so good at making them mad… you do Monday and bring me a cookie. I’ll do Tuesday and bring you a cookie. Deal?”

Anyone else in the same boat? :P  While on the office topic, check out Overheard in the Office!

Fresh Air is My Medicine!

Tuesday, October 21st, 2008

Some more engagement pictures are posted on Facebook here. Go check them out! More coming soon though. I absolutely am in love with the pictures and everyone in Arizona should have pictures taken by Jason & Pamela. If you don’t live here….heck, it’s worth flying here then! ;)

I’m definitely a night person and I noticed that my motivation for going to the gym is extremely high in the evenings. I cannot get up early in the morning no matter how hard I try, even 3 extra minutes of sleep is really a big deal for me! 7:03A…sure!! 7:05A even better!! My favorite part of exercising is getting some fresh air outside at night….omg, it smells soooo good here. Then hiking up the stairs to 3rd floor is another thing after working out. Tyler told me he drinks about 2-3 gallons of water a day because of work and I want to try to do the same. I started this morning at work and omg… it’s no fun making 1,000 trips to the bathroom in between doing projects. Attempt #2 is tomorrow.

I am a huge fan of The Biggest Loser. Tonight I wore all black to the gym (yes, we went at 10:30P) because I LOVE  Jillian’s black team. I just love her and would do anything to get her to be my trainer.

Going through Life Together

34 more days….and I’m stressing out.

“There are moments in our lives when we find ourselves at a crossroad, afraid, confused, without a roadmap. The choices we make in those moments can define the rest of our days. Of course when faced with the unknown, most of us prefer to turn around and go back.” - One Tree Hill
