Grandma’s in town for 3 months! Mom said “maybe they’d come over on their way home from the airport” Saturday afternoon.

“Grandma’s coming over now!!”

That phrase really works. The boys scrubbed the apartment clean in minutes!!!

But…they didn’t come over, haha!

Saturday was productive….Sunday was not.

I had my dress fitting appointment and all went well except one tiny problem. My dress is a little bit too short, but once it’s steamed/pressed it should be fine. The lady suggested adding ruffles to the bottom. RUFFLES? sure, if it was 1950!! :P

Tyler and I decided to walk over to Target… it’s behind our apartment. I love looking at Christmas stuff! I bought wrapping paper and framed it, now I don’t know where to put it. Tyler and I are putting projects on hold since Blake, his brother, is moving back to Washington after the wedding. We’ll turn his room into a guest room/computer room.

Sunday I woke up feeling sick and thought I’d feel better after taking 3 naps. I had to reschedule my hair appointment. I slept pretty much the whole day yesterday. Now I’m feeling much better today and hope it stays that way!

Work has been extremely busy this week. I usually have time to breathe in between projects and email people or check out websites.

Today our boss wanted to take 6 of us out to lunch for a co-worker’s Birthday. As usual, in big groups it’s hard for me to understand what everyone is saying. I have to lip-read and rely on hearing with my cochlear implant and hearing aid. (Good thing I wore my cochlear implant today!) All that does not help when everyone is laughing and it’s impossible to follow everything that is being said while eating. Today was better than the last Birthday lunch we had.

DW drove KK and I to lunch in his mustang. On our way back to work, KK and I spotted McSweaty jogging topless. He was sooo handsome! Mmmm!
