I concur, even though economy's really bad now, it's the most perfect time to buy a house... because then you'll profit from it in the future!! and now loans for houses have REALLY LOW interest too! so that's perfect! Also think about the quality of the school district.. good schools for your kids? if your kids are deaf, do they have good services? Daycares close by? little leagues (soccer, baseball, swimming) for your kids to join? that's the kind of things I think about when I look for a house, especially if it's a location I wanna live for 5+ years.
