I am proud to be Tyler’s Wife

December 2nd, 2008. Posted in love life, wedding.

I’m now Tyler’s wife and it feels great! I still have to get used to my new name and practice my new signature!

Rahul, Bryan & Gea were the first to arrive and that very same day on Monday, two weeks ago, Tyler hit someone and luckily it was a fender bender. The next day, Tuesday, Blake got in a car accident. Some lady hit him from his side and we received a phone call from someone saying he went to the hospital and we had to go meet him there. That was a horrible moment not knowing what had happen to him. Stitches on his head and a lot of CT scans. The next day, Wednesday, I hit someone at the airport picking up Joe….and it was also a fender bender.

YES…three car accidents in three days!!!!

The bachelorette day/party was awesome! We started with the Pink Jeep Tour in Sedona then to my family relatives’ rental house for the party…..and a fireman stripper came out!!!!!! I was a bit embarassed especially because some mothers were there and both my grandmas were there. After that we went to 2 bars in our bride and bridesmaid t-shirts. A lot of guys were nice enough to say congratulations but the girls obviously did not care? That’s weird because I would think it’d be the other way around.

The guys had their own fun too with paintballing, going to the Phoenix Suns Basketball game, and then barhopping to a strip club.

Sunday was open house and we saw all our family relatives and friends. It was nice to be able to have both families meet and mingle before the big day. The girls and I (Todd too!) went to the Phoenican hotel because I didn’t want to see Tyler the day of the wedding until the ceremony.

Amy went with me and got my hair done at the salon at 9AM for a 4PM wedding! No sleeping in for the big day :( Todd was so awesome because he did all the girls’ hair. The boys (minus Tyler) met up at the hotel to join us in the limo.

It didn’t really hit me that I was getting married until I put on my dress and feeling like I had to go to the bathroom because I was anxiously waiting! My sister had to help me go to the bathroom 2 times before the ceremony started. I felt extremely nervous when all the girls left and it was just me and my Dad waiting for our turn to go. It went by like a breeze that I wish the ceremony was videotaped.

It was a beautiful wedding! I have no complaints on the wedding but I do have one advice:

Make sure your wedding party eat before the ceremony!

Of course we had some drama during our wedding week but it was nothing too extreme or lasted long. It’s to the point where we can laugh about it now. We all had a wonderful and interesting time!

Tyler and I are very grateful to have wonderful friends and family that could be here to celebrate with us. Even the awesome video Jason created for us with a message from each one of our friends.

I’d do the wedding all over again if I could. Just because I loved having my friends & family relatives in town and the wedding was amazing!
