Citrus Orange Trees to Steamfresh

On Friday during lunch hour I finally picked up the CD with our wedding photos! In the area I saw a lot of beautiful citrus orange trees! They are amazingly beautiful and I made Tyler promise me we’ll have one (or more!) in our backyard one day.

I decided to cancel my subscription with WeightWatchers since I know how the points work and can do it without subscribing online. Tyler and I decided it’d be best to use that money instead towards going to 24 hour fitness gym. We went to the gym this morning and we spoke with a representative to sign up and he brought up The Biggest Loser. I informed him I was going to go to casting call on March 7th. He excitedly told me that he wanted me to credit them if I make the show and I was easily amused by that.

Tonight for dinner Tyler and I tried Birds Eye Steamfresh (Shrimp Alfredo) which is amazing not having to cook it and just put it in the microwave for 12 minutes and have a healthy meal ready for you! It tasted good but not delicious if that even makes sense. We’ll have to try more meals as their website provides yummy recipes!

The Rahul Treatment Plan

I followed the Rahul Treatment Plan today and it kind of didn’t work.

Every time Rahul (don’t you love this picture of him?) was feeling down he would go shopping to make himself feel better. Anyways, today I wasn’t feeling like my usual self so I thought I’d follow the Rahul Treatment Plan with Tyler this evening.

We went to La Fitness first to check out their gym and see how much it is monthly and we weren’t pleased with their gym, it’s small and overcrowded. We then went tanning and I spent 12 minutes in heaven. I work inside all day in an air conditioned building so I don’t get to feel the sun’s rays often anymore.

After that we went to Bed Bath & Beyond and debated for a good few minutes on which mattress pad and fitted sheets to purchase. I’d say the Rahul Treatment Plan wasn’t that successful on us since we kind of felt guilty for buying a mattress pad & fitted sheets.

Hopefully tomorrow morning after I wake up I can say that the Rahul Treatment Plan worked out well! The only problem I may have is I’ll be too comfortable in bed to wake up for work.

Bedding Talk!

Wednesday, February 25th, 2009

In my world, buying a duvet cover is like buying a new purse. (Oh…I do need a new purse!)

I easily get tired of our duvet cover and always want a new one and it sure does drive Tyler crazy.

I  want to buy a white duvet cover and keep our pillowcases black since we have a black bed frame from IKEA. We also need a new mattress pad.

All this bedding talk makes me excited and can’t wait to go to bed tonight if we do purchase a new bedding cover & mattress pad.

Homemade pizza for dinner! Yum!
