Bedding Talk!

February 25th, 2009. Posted in Home Decor.

In my world, buying a duvet cover is like buying a new purse. (Oh…I do need a new purse!)

I easily get tired of our duvet cover and always want a new one and it sure does drive Tyler crazy.

I  want to buy a white duvet cover and keep our pillowcases black since we have a black bed frame from IKEA. We also need a new mattress pad.

All this bedding talk makes me excited and can’t wait to go to bed tonight if we do purchase a new bedding cover & mattress pad.

Homemade pizza for dinner! Yum!

tell me about it! I had the same bed set(the star ones) for 8 years before finally buying a new one a couple months ago! I tried to go as cheap as possible and it was still around $90! Over winter break, mom and I went to Macys and we found these amazingly soft warm comforters but they were like $350.. ON SALE! Hm, maybe I’ll add that to my wedding gift list if I ever get engaged LOL.

Omigosh, I am the saaaame way. We’re on our second one right now, and I’m eager to change it already. (Thank goodness for Ikea and their awesome prices!) I have design ADD. I always want to change things!

    (Glad I’m not alone…heehee.)

How do you get a duvet cover for a good price?
Around here, they can be at least $300 and that’s just crazy! I’m not sure about Ikea’s- are they really comfortable and not scratchy? I’d love to get two! One for winter and one for summer! They’re just easier to wash and keep clean… they’re more convenient to wash after your guests sleep over in the second bedroom.

i like bed frames that are made of bronze or steel, they are very durable and longer lasting compared to wood;*,
