Look on the Bright Side, Dad’s Pregnant…

I love my new flats – you’ll most likely never catch me wearing heels since I already feel tall enough. I hate shopping for clothes now because I don’t like Spring or Fall clothes – only Winter or Summer! I’m better off saving money now anyways.

Just as we were leaving, I told Tyler how much I missed my sunglasses that I lost in the Summer. I’ve been blinding myself for that long! We saw this booth that had a sign that read “2 for $19.99″ so now I have 2 sunglasses.

We went to my parents’ house for dinner and had some yummy meatloaf with potatoes & salad. The boys needed their fix of pie for dessert… always do!

Half of the pie went to Dad and the other half went to Tyler. Dad said he can’t smile while pushing his stomach out to look pregnant. That pie was disgusting and good thing I didn’t have any because the boys ended up not liking it. Poor them – didn’t satifisy their pie-fix.

March’s going by real slow – is it just me that feels that way? I think I’m just too anxious for the Summer to roll in.

Getting Off the Couch

Wednesday, March 11th, 2009

Our futon/couch is falling apart. Soon enough we’ll be sitting on the floor on the mattress. This means we need to buy a new couch but it won’t be until after we buy a house this summer. As they say, “Get off the couch” to exercise and lose weight… I guess it’s a good thing it’s falling apart.

Tonight for dinner we made tortilla pizzas…

- 99% Fat Free Tortilla (120 calories)
- Prego Spaghetti Sauce (20 calories)
- Low Sodium Mozzarella cheese (50 calories)
- 100% Pineapple Tidbits (20 calories)
Total: 210 calories

We need to go grocery shopping this weekend to stock our fridge and make it colorful with veggies & fruits! I’ve lost some pounds this week. I know I forgot to update my weight chart page and I will this week.

The Skinny Me…

I found this old picture of me from 2003. I’m going to get back to that weight or less. This recent weekend Tyler and I decided to go to Camelback Mountain to hike the Summit Trial which says is for experienced hikers and is rated difficult. I don’t know what we were thinking but it was nice to see how far we were able to get. We’re planning on going again since we had fun!

We also watched a guy almost kill himself by climbing in an area that was off limits and he was going to jump from one rock to another and thank god he came to his senses and knew he wouldn’t make it and struggled for a few minutes to get across somehow. What an idiot.

Grilled chicken with pineapple for dinner tomorrow night.
