The Decision…

I’ve made a decision with the hubby & family about The Biggest Loser and with that said, I’m not going to the audition tomorrow. We already have a lot of summer plans that cannot be changed or postponed. Also with the economy right now, I do not want to lose my job or leave the hubby to support both of us which is not enough with our bills right now. I’m definitely not giving up – I’m still dieting and probably should go on a strict diet.

Thank you all for supporting me with this and I will continue to update every once a while on my progress.

I was looking forward to running into you in line… Good luck – keep going.

The worst part of trying out last year, not making it, and telling myself I would do it on my own – is being able to try out again this year, because I couldn’t do it on my own…

I’ve heard that Jillian’s workout video is really good.
Trust me, I know it’s hard on your own. I’ve struggled my whole life. But I think it’s like any addiction. Once you’re ready to make a difference, you will and you’ll need lots of support along the way! Just believe in yourself. You can do it!
Another thing that works is setting goals for every 10 pounds you lose.

I’m glad you finally got to your senses and decided to make me your personal trainer instead.

Okay, that quotation makes me want to cry. Not sad tears, but tears of wow-that-is-exactly-what-I-needed-to-read-right-now. I think that every single one of us need to be reminded of something like that, you know? Makes you think. And it’s comforting.

:)

Best of luck with your weight loss – you don’t need to be on the show to be a complete success. (Although, that would have been fun, too!) I always wonder about people on shows like that…how do they pay bills? How do they keep their jobs? What about their kids (if they have them)? It’s crazy.

It definitely is comforting and yeah, we all need to see that every once a while!

Thanks! I’ve been reading some blogs from previous winners on The Biggest Loser and they mentioned that NBC gives them money every week to use or send home to pay the bills but I’m sure it’s not much. :-/
