It’s October Already!?

I’m absolutely loving the cold breeze in the mornings. 66 degrees? Sure I’ll wake up early for that!

I have never really decorated for Halloween before other than carving a pumpkin and leaving it outside. One of our neighbors across the street put Halloween lights up. Too bad there aren’t leaves falling off the trees to get me in the mood. That is the only time I miss living in Seattle!

I’m going to decorate for Halloween this year for a change. I’m anxious to finally have trick or treaters come this year since we never really got any when we lived in an apartment.

This is going to be a month of…

-  soupful evenings
- spooky movies
- apple cider & autumn candles
- and I wish I could say.. wear my Uggs.

    I love October too, as we get to pack our Uggs away. :)

    We don’t do Halloween here. A handful of kids will attempt to Trick or Treat… but Australia hasn’t really gotten into it.

    One of families I know is American and they have a huge party with apple bobbing and such, they really embrace it. You’re not allowed in if you aren’t dressed up. :)

    I love decorating… but I hate spending money on it. I am trying to create some of my own decorations. We’ll see how that works out. :)

    October for us has so far brought an end to the rain and an end to the complete chill in the air. Not hot, unless in direct sun, but not chilly and requiring a thick jumper and my uggies!

    Yay for October and season changing finally! A month late, but I’ll take it!

    We’ve always gone the tacky route with Halloween decorations. Bloody stakes and all. This year, though, I’m thinking of just getting a small little pumpkin. Happy October!

    The leaves aren’t falling here, either, and it makes me sad that I don’t live someplace where the seasonal change is in full swing. However, I plan on doing lots of fall-y things. And I really want to decorate for Halloween this year, so we will see how that works out!

    I left my Uggs back in Boston, when I go back for Christmas I’m determined to bring them with me!

    Halloween has always been my favorite holiday so I always made sure our house was decorated efficiently. Now that I live on my own, I bought orange lights for my patio and my kitchen is decorated but that’s all I have so far.

    And I definitely miss the falling leaves. My roommate is going to take my up to Flagstaff for a day later in the month so we can see some up there! :)

    Mister is OBSESSED with seasonal decorating- I’m only happy that the puppies mean we can’t have anything out that they could eat!

    October is my favorite month (aside from my birthday month–December). I’m hoping to be able to decorate this season (for Halloween, then for fall/Thanksgiving, then Christmas!).
