I love how you've decorated the fireplace. I have a suggestion as far as what to do above your cabinets: you could continue the stripe theme from your mud room. Paint one big stripe in the middle between the ceiling and top of the cabinets. But you could do a different color like dark brown. This would help "fill in" some of the space up there and you could still add decorative items. Just an idea. :) Everything is coming together very nicely!! I love how you’ve decorated the fireplace.
