The park district building two blocks over (well, I can see it from my backyard) has boxing so I was going to check it out. Unfortunately, I discovered it's only for children up to age 18. Boo! Good luck with that. ALSO - Dodgeball is awesome. I know of a weekly dodgeball group here in Chicago that tends to get together twice a week and play at a park around 9pm at night. It's become more popular and anyone can join or just show up for one game (or every week). I hope Tyler accomplishes that! I'm sure many people will be interested. I know of plenty people my age who have kids and I just couldn't IMAGINE having a baby right now. I just feel like I have so much I want to achieve and accomplish before I settle down and have some kids. While I know people don't (totally) regret having their kids, I have seen how it puts a bit of a damper on educational plans, traveling plans, career plans, etc. But when the time feels right, all those plans will mean nothing to having a baby. And the boxing idea sounds like a lot of fun! I think boxing would be such a fun way to have a good workout and not as boring or mundane as running or using the elliptical at the gym.
