The other night Tyler and I had fun making a wreath out of coffee filters where I got inspired by The Nester. I knew I wanted to do this since it only cost me less than $5 for the wreath from Michael’s and coffee filters from the grocery store. I was a bit stressed out at first because I wasn’t sure if I was doing it the right way but then it got easier. I burned myself with the hot glue gun like 243 times! Tyler even thought it was funny and eventually it was my turn to laugh at him when he fell off the chair. It was definitely a fun project for both of us to do together.

Craigslist is my best friend. Seriously, it’s how I landed my internship & full time job that I still have now. Anyways, I have been looking for some time now for the perfect dresser for our hallway. Until the other day, I found the perfect and cheap dresser! The best part? It included delivery! I pleaded the guy to give me the dresser after he told me another woman had contacted him first and she was going to come out and look at it and he’d let me know if she didn’t want it. He emailed me a few hours later and told me it was mine! That very same day he delivered it to our house.

Finally we were able to unpack our (Kate Spade) china that we got from our wedding. It’s so pretty that I have to have it out on display while the rest will be stored in the drawers and can be easily used anytime which is much better than keeping it in a box in the closet. Now I’m anxious to decorate for Christmas now that I have a beautiful dresser to decorate too!

When I tell people I don’t want wine, most of the time they assume it’s because I’m pregnant. I just don’t like wine… no matter how hard I try to since I think it’d be cool to carry a wine glass and sip and sip away! It’s just YUCK.

When I wanted to drink in college… Jack Daniel’s was my friend.

…which was not a good thing at all! That stuff always got to me especially this time when I fell and knocked over the crates I had set up in the bedroom with all my clothes on it.

Poor Tyler for having to deal with me especially after that “episode”, I spent the rest of the evening throwing up. After that, I vowed I was never going to drink Jack Daniel’s again. I now have a new favorite… goldschlager – gotta love the cinnamon flavor!

This is ridiculous but in some way I still don’t really feel like an adult because I don’t drink wine or beer. I’m a shirley temple girl! I’ll go out with friends and they’ll all order fancy drinks while I order shirley temple.

Even Tyler doesn’t like wine or beer. He claims that this explains why he doesn’t really have any facial or chest hair. All his brothers drink and they have plenty of facial hair opposed to Tyler. I couldn’t stop laughing when Tyler brought up this silly theory of his. Every once a while he’ll try and drink a beer and when he does I’ll tease him and tell him I finally see some facial hair!

Oddly enough at our wedding we both had champagne and loved it! So I guess we’ll stick with champagne and sparkling cider for now.

If you love wine… maybe you should come over since we have pretty wine glasses sitting in our cupboard waiting to be used!

Working with cobwebs are NOT fun….it actually stresses me out. The picture probably explains it all anyways.

Coconut sitting by the window was actually a perfect addition to our Halloween look.

I think Cozy was jealous because he tried pushing Coconut off so he could sit by the window.

We got a lot of kiddos that came by for candy! It actually took us forever to finish dinner. At one point, I wanted to trick Tyler but couldn’t go through the garage since he’d hear it open. So I went around the house and this was actually scary since it was pitch black and I kept hoping I wasn’t going to step on a snake (damn stupid hose for looking like a snake!). I finally got around and rang the doorbell. Tyler answered and was ready to give me candy until he realized it was me. I thought it was so funny and this was to get back at him for doing the same thing to me last year.
