Tyler and I decided to sell his truck at the end of the week. He’s going to get a truck with the company and won’t need his current truck. It will also help us save money and hopefully buy a new vehicle at the end of the year. The minute I put up an advertisement on Craigslist… I received numerous e-mails from people interested in the truck. We’re selling it for $1,200 – $1,500. Cheap, I know, but the truck is a POS and probably the only rusted truck in Anthem.

I am so excited to make my last payment towards our apartment in New York as the lease is up July! Hopefully we’ll get out security deposit back.

Tyler’s mom and brother stayed with us for the week and it was also Tyler’s first week on the job. We got a lot done this week – dresses for the flower girls, apartment hunting, and bought my wedding ring and picked out Tyler’s wedding ring.

I think Tyler and I are thinking about staying with my parents a little bit longer to save money. Instead of moving out in August we probably will move out in September or October. Reality is kicking in…with making decisions and everything.

I have lost some weight since we moved back home. I don’t want to just lose weight – I want to be able to feel both emotionally and physically better. I discovered Anthem Boot Camp and I really am interested in doing this! 5 days a week for a month = $299. The only thing I’m just not sure about is the fact that it’s at 5:30AM. There’s another one at 9:00AM and 6:00PM but both are co-ed and I am still looking for a job so I need to make sure I have nothing that would interfere with work hours. Also I don’t want to do this by myself, haha! I could do it at 6PM with Tyler but I don’t know if he’ll be home in time everyday for Boot Camp.

Friday morning I woke up at 4:30AM and we were all still so tired so we decided not to follow the others in the RV to Rocky Point and just go on our own later and meet them there. We left the house at 11AM and arrived Rocky Point at 3PM. We went to the condo where we were staying at….and it was just like the first episode of Real World. Everyone grabbing the bedroom they wanted – Tyler even put his ID on the bed while we went out to the car to bring in our stuff.

We met a lot of new people and they are all so welcoming and really nice! Unfortunately a lot of things happened this weekend with the cops. Two people’s bags got stolen from their bedroom around 8PM. So things were crazy the first night. They had to go the station to fill out paperwork and stuff because their money, IDs, and passports were in the bags too. So basically they had nothing on them just what they were wearing, which sucked. A few of us decided to go to Pink Cadillac to celebrate Rachel’s Birthday at midnight. We stayed up until 4:30AM and woke up around 9AM. Some of us went to the beach while the others went back to the police station and shopping downtown.

We had so much fun swimming in the ocean and going on the banana boat. After that, Jason took us off-roading with the ranger. That was so much fun but it was a bumpy, sandy, hot, & humid ride! Most of us got bruises from banging our heads everywhere. We were covered in sand afterwards and it looked like we aged during the ride!

We went to The Crows Nest for dinner and we all sat outside so the view was beautiful!!! Almost everyone was EXHAUSTED and burnt out right after dinner. Some of us went to Manny’s Club but Tyler and I left early. Apparently I was dreaming that I was being kidnapped by a Mexican while in bed so Tyler said I was screaming bloody murder and kicking in bed. It felt so real! I’m glad it wasn’t real.

Overall, Rocky Point was awesome! A lot more happened but “whatever happens in Mexico stays in Mexico”. I’m really glad to have spent the weekend with such awesome people! I’m looking forward to new memories to create in Arizona.

Haley and Chase left this afternoon. :( I was busy cleaning up and getting ready for Tyler’s mom and brother’s stay here with us. They arrived tonight and they’re staying until Friday or Saturday. So much to do this week with them while I still go to interviews and look for a job.

I have two photo albums on Facebook from Mexico – Album #1 & Album #2. If you have Facebook you can see more photos of me on my profile.
