Palm Springs & Tons of Vodka

palmsprings

Palm Springs was a nice escape! I was in love with the cool breeze we had all weekend long since that doesn’t happen in Phoenix except with that it’s a hot breeze.

We met up with Haley’s family and her boyfriend, Chase. They stayed at a friend’s condo which reminded me of a penthouse with really super-white carpet and it was like walking on millions of memory foam pillows.

Vodka shots with our dads and drunk popcorn was delicious… and I don’t even like popcorn. Sunday we went to the pool again and the outlet mall where I was dying for a cute wallet from Kate Spade but $143!? No thanks…not spending that much on a wallet. At least I have my polka dots china set from Kate Spade and that reminds me I need to get a few more so I have a full set of 12.

My dad showed us a really lame card trick and it was so lame that Mom, Dad and I were hysterically laughing to tears. I’ve never seen my Dad laugh that hard before. He then decided it was time for a shot of vodka out of a coffee cup. The whole weekend was fun and relaxing. This was the first vacation trip with the family as a married couple. Tyler has officially retired from sleeping on the floor on vacations and now it’s my sister’s boyfriend who had to sleep on the floor.

I hope you all had a good weekend!

iPhone & Zella

I got an iPhone before the accident and I’m in love with it. Now I’m not sure if I should keep it or not. Every day when I go to work, I leave it at home so I don’t get addicted to it and while at work I keep telling myself to return it. But once I get home the iPhone’s in my hand and I can’t let go of it. It sucks… I can’t decide and Tyler’s not helping since he wants me to keep it so he can play with it.

Zella, my car, is ready to be picked up today after work. I’m going to miss my rental (Kia Sportage 2008). I’m nervous that the memories are going to come back once I see Zella and all the mess inside from the impact. I’m glad I took my wedding dress out of my trunk a while ago.

This weekend we need to spring clean and convert Tyler’s man cave room into Amy’s room since she arrives next week to stay for the Summer. What are you doing this weekend?

Surprises!

Webcamming with my girls = medicine.

Surprises… I don’t know if I like surprises. I grew up having a lot of surprise Birthday parties. Probably was easy for my parents to plan that because I’m deaf and they could practically talk about plans in front of me. I have no idea what’s going on for the bachelorette party. Mom said she can’t afford a stripper but was grinning the whole time, so I know I’m getting one! Tonight is the Bridal Shower that my mom is hosting and again I have no idea what is going on!

I have so much to do tomorrow with Tyler before Rahul, Bryan & Gea arrives on Monday!
