Sensitive Neighbors

What is the first thing you do when you wake up?

I check my pager to double-check the time and read messages. That’s what I did this morning…Ty paged me saying we got reported on from the apartment and that definitely ruined my morning. I read the letter and it said we were reported for “loud activity throughout the day and past 10PM”.

Are they for real!? We’re at work during the day and don’t get home until dinner time and the boys are playing video games which does not require any physical movement and I’m not partying by myself. What disappointed me was that the letter also said if the problem continues then we could be evicted. Again…seriously!!?

I e-mailed all the ladies I know that work at the office in “my work mode” way. The assistant manager who lives two floors below me e-mailed me back and explained that it was just a letter that everyone receives when something like this happens and not to worry about it. If they don’t want us to worry about it then the “eviction” part is really unnecessary.

TWENTY SEVEN days left! I am so nervous because I’m not READY! (Yes, of course, I’m ready to marry Tyler)

Everything goes wrong!

This morning I locked myself out of the apartment and left my keys inside. Luckily the maintenance guy was walking by so I asked him if he could let me in my apartment.  On my way to work my hearing aid slowly dies and after looking in my purse for a new one I realized I left them at home. I was already late to work so I stopped at the grocery store near work and it turns out they have all hearing batteries except the ones I need!!

According to my statistics, I have a lot of readers but no one really comments and it would be nice to know who’s reading.  Please leave a comment!! :)

Fire Hydrant = Not Good News

Wednesday, July 30th, 2008

We both were wrong – we get our paychecks tomorrow not today. Tyler loves jumping over things whenever we go places. We went to the store tonight and I walked around the fence to get inside and Tyler just jumped right over and had an ego about it. He shouldn’t have because he jinxed himself literally. The next store we go to he decides to jump over a fire hydrant and I see the whole thing in slow motion kind of expecting it but didn’t say anything. He missed and hurt his nuts. Poor him but I was laughing at him because he learned his damn lesson now. His leg is swollen from the accident that did not need to happen! I told Tyler I should take a picture of that fire hydrant so we can press charges if we cannot have babies in the future, hahaha!
